RAF Halton -
Practice 10:00 to 16:00 hours - Uniform dress rehearsal for Aylesbury on the 19 September 2010, but come along even if you are not able to come to Aylesbury.
We will be rehearsing for the Aylesbury Tattoo on this date - please ensure you get along especially if you are playing in the tattoo - Northern & Midland members welcome. Please notify Paul Hern in advance if you plan on attending today.
We have a uniformed practice session at RAF Halton from 10:00 to 16:00 hours with lunch etc on Sunday 5th September. There will be a small administrative charge of £4.25 per head (children free) for attending Halton and you will have to pay for your lunch as per last year. Price to be advised.
Please give serious consideration to attending RAF Halton our second main practice for this year and which will also be a practice for the Aylesbury Tattoo

10:00 - Arrive and meet at Indoor Drill Facility - Coffee & Tea
10:30 - Inspection for benefit of Adj for uniform requirements etc
Foot drill , wheeling, settling in new DM - Under RAF DI Instruction
11:00 - Break
11:15 - Band session on the march & practice drill movement for Aylesbury tattoo
12:00 - Sections
12:30 - March to Maitland mess for lunch at 12:45 hours
13:45 - Notices
13:45 - Band Practice Maitland Square & practice drill movements for Aylesbury Tattoo
Possible alternative - meet with some RAF Halton Pipe Band & practice Killaloe for tattoo.

15:00 - Practice on square and then march back to IDF for

19th September 2010 - Aylesbury Tattoo We will be participating in this the inaugural event at Aylesbury Military Tattoo. Full details are now available and will be sent on request but the main programme details are below:-

We have managed to bring forward the completion time to 20.15 hours for the Tattoo.
13:00 to 14.00 hours - Assemble at Aylesbury Methodist Church
Buckingham Street Aylesbury HP20 2NQ
which is but 2 minutes away from venue. Have your own lunch there or en-route or in Aylesbury.
14:30 hours Finale & Full rehearsal in the park under the direction of Wing Commander Duncan Stubbs RAF Director of Music from RAF Northolt
17.30 hours (Approx) Return to Methodist Hall where Dave Hall will be celebrating his 60th and I my 65th birthday and my wife Alaine has made a fruit cake for your enjoyment to mark the occasion. Change into uniform.
19.00 hours - Return to park via St Mary's Church (access) & watch Tattoo proceedings. Be at start point (designated in rehearsal) ready for entry at 19.17 hours for 8 minutes display. Then again for finale entrance at 19.48 until march off at 20:10 Hours.
